Restore My Heart

Every woman needs a love relationship. And every woman can have one….

Discover how tenderly and compassionately you are loved by God, just as you are; and His desire to lavishly adorn you with His precious gifts. Find out how these eternal truths are beautifully illustrated for today's women in the ancient Jewish customs and wedding traditions.

Does your heart need a repair job?   Do you need to know that who and what you are really matters?

Then you need to come to hear Denise Glenn share “Restore My Heart.” The messages of this study address the needs of every woman.  Denise will take the elements of a Jewish wedding and show you just how much Jesus really loves you and seeks you as His Bride. It is a fascinating study that will engulf your womanly heart in the extravagant, almost ridiculous love Jesus has for you.  When a woman is loved, she can love in return....love her Lord, love her family, and love her world. You see, when Jesus came into your heart… you were already in His.

A personal note from Denise for this retreat: “I want this powerful love message to women's hearts to be like a pure shot of love-acceptance-worth-identity infusion to her soul...I want it to be the most empty of self I've ever been in my life and the most filled to all the fulness of God....I want it to be so powerful and engaging that a woman with a broken heart, a woman with a seeking heart, a woman with a desperate heart, a woman with a self-centered heart and a woman with a passion to know God will all find exactly what their hearts need to be completely restored to a place of innocent, trusting, passionate, sold out love for the Lord.”

Keeping the Secrets of Jesus

Short Sound Bite:

The secrets of Jesus are simple yet profound. When we come against an impenetrable wall—either in a human heart, a church, a city or a nation—there is but one plan that will gain the victory. We must keep the secrets of Jesus. We are to give, to pray, and to fast under the radar, in secrecy. Those who know best how to give, how to pray, and are willing to sacrifice by keeping it secret, are most equipped to gain the victory.

We must keep the secrets of Jesus. We are to give, to pray, and to fast under the radar, in secrecy. While many Christians have heard those ideas all our lives, giving, praying and fasting will all of a sudden be taken to a new level when trouble comes. Those who know best how to give, how to pray, and are willing to sacrifice by keeping it secret, are most equipped to gain the victory.

Longest Sound Bite:

On December 26, 2004, Indonesia was front page, headline news. A huge 9.0 earthquake in the Indian Ocean caused a tsunami that rushed onto the shores of Indonesia and other nearby nations. All at once, borders that had been tightly closed against all foreigners, and certainly all Christians, suddenly swung open as the world rushed support to the victims. While probably none of us will ever understand until we get to heaven the total picture of that historic, devastating day from God’s viewpoint, it is a fact that where doors were closed, now they were opened.

How does a disaster of Biblical proportions have much in common with personal tsunami’s threatening to engulf personal lives? Is a Biblical response somewhat the same?

We lived and worked in Indonesia during the fall of 2004 while researching and writing this book. We didn’t know how God was preparing us even then to respond to one of the greatest natural disasters in history. While we watched the terrible scenes on our television, as you did during those days after Christmas, our hearts cried out, “What can we do?” Almost immediately, it began to dawn on us that God had already shown us what to do. First, He showed us by the example of Godly prayer warriors in a massive prayer network in Indonesia. They modeled exactly how to both prepare for this event and how to respond to it. They had been keeping the secrets of Jesus for years, and were completely ready to move immediately after the waves receded from the shores.

Secondly, God showed us how to respond to a tsunami through His Word. These principles applied to either a physical disaster like the one we had just experienced in Indonesia, or a personal one, as many of you have experienced in your personal lives through divorce, death or prodigal children. In His Word, we found three keys to provide answers to unanswerable dilemmas.
